5 Ways to Beat Bloat
This article discusses briefly five ways to reduce bloating. I like this article because it mentions the 'fake sugar' aspect of reducing calories. Everyone thinks that because they are using Splenda or Equal, that it's healthy and perfectly okay. This, however, is not the case! As of right now, the only sugar that people should be using, in my opinion, is stevia (like Truvia), regular sugar (it's only 15 calories a spoon!), or brown sugar. The article discusses the chemicals that cause bloat from Sorbitol and other chemicals that replace sugar. Because your body identifies these chemicals as foreign, it does not know how to process them so they stay in your mid-section. Obviously, if you have 5 packets of Splenda every single day, it will affect you, but if it's once in a while, it's okay.
